Weiss glitzert die Bergwelt um Arosa, ein kühles Lüftchen weht und die meisten Tiere halten sich versteckt. Während bei uns auf den Pisten eine Menge los ist, hat die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt mit einer Menge Herausforderungen zu kämpfen. Bei unserem Bärenplausch schauen wir uns gemeinsam mit einer Wildbiologin im Bärenland an, was unsere Bären so treiben und lernen allerhand faszinierende Anpassungen vom Meister Petz. Auf unserem Winterspaziergang zum Prätschli hören wir faszinierende Märchen und Sagen über den Bären aus aller Welt, lernen was die anderen Tiere und Pflanzen im Winter so machen mit allerlei Dingen zum Anfassen in unserem Erkundungsrucksack, jagen Tierspuren nach und schlitteln zu guter Letzt ins Dorf zurück.

The squirrel trail is 1.5 km long and is a very special experience thanks to the friendly little animals. Escape from everyday life and let the squirrels and birds eat out of your hand. The trail leads into the forest at Tomeli-Strasse (below the Waldhotel Arosa) and ends at the Maran bus stop. Towards the end of the trail, visitors will find a spacious playground with a barbecue area. Parking is available at Obersee or in the Ochsenbühl parking garage.

Discover Arosa and the surrounding area on a guided hike. In addition to unforgettable mountain panoramas, you will also have the opportunity to spot some wildlife. On request, you can be accompanied by an expert guide who will introduce you to the fauna and flora of Arosa.

Make the evening program a special highlight! Stroll through the countryside by torchlight. The torchlight hike can be combined as a circular tour or as a destination with dinner on the mountain. On request, you can be accompanied by a local guide.

Mit Schneeschuhen unter den Füssen bewegt ihr euch durch die winterliche Natur und geniesst wunderbare Aussichten, die Stille und die frische, klare Luft. Ob eine begleitete 2-stündige Wanderung, eine Tagestour oder auch eine Route am Abend zu einem gemütlichen Restaurant; ihr entscheidet, wie lange ihr unterwegs sein möchtet. Der Rückweg ins Dorf kann je nach Ziel optional mit dem Schlitten oder auch in Begleitung von Fackeln organisiert werden.

Take the opportunity to be unavailable for a moment and listen to the stories of Markus Lütscher, one of the last mountain farmers in Arosa. The family tradition of the Lütschers is deeply rooted in the history of Arosa and goes back to his great-grandfather. The stable that Markus Lütscher looks after is an impressive, centuries-old log building located in Innerarosa, slightly above the village center and right next to the renowned Kulm Hotel. During a one-hour guided tour, you have the unique opportunity to visit the stable and gain fascinating insights into animal husbandry and farming in Arosa.

When building the new Valsana Hotel Arosa, special attention was paid to sustainable materials, products from Switzerland and a forward-looking energy concept. 

During the Green Hotel Tour, we will explain the sustainability efforts of the Valsana and the Tschuggen Hotel Group and take you to the heart of the hotel - our ice store.

The treasure chest can only be cracked if all teams reach the destination. On the way and at the destination, each team has the task of mastering 3 team interaction adventures.

In the Arosa Alpine Garden you will find countless alpine flowers in their natural state and the flora and fauna present themselves in their full splendor. A special experience not only for flower lovers. The diversity and special features of the local flora are also explained and shown. Visitors can find out about the different species, learn about their special characteristics and understand their importance for the local ecosystem.

Poker trains our analytical and mathematical skills, promotes solution-oriented thinking, teaches us patience and self-discipline, and requires long-term investment thinking. It is ideal for business teams to work together to develop goals in a playful way.
 The strategy game with an element of luck, No-Limit Texas Hold'em, challenges us to engage with the current situation, our opponents and ourselves. The people of Grisons have been cooking at the Erzhorn for three generations. From our own experience and in exchange with many countrywomen and grandmothers, we have compiled our recipes, modernized and adapted them, but also kept them authentic. 
Together with Marc, they cook a 4-course Bünden menu in the Erzhorn kitchen.

The Arosa Schanfigg local history museum is located in the “Eggahuus”, a knitting house built around 1600. The local history collection includes a weaving room, a house organ, a sports section with skis and sledges, a wood collection, tools and stuffed animals. Special exhibitions on specific themes complete the offer. The Arosa-Schanfigg cultural archive is attached to the museum. Everything that has been written about Arosa and Schanfigg is collected there. There is also an extensive collection of photos of Arosa and Schanfigg.

The Kulturhuus Schanfigg is a cultural meeting place for locals and guests. The association cultivates and promotes the original culture of Schanfigg in its traditional and contemporary form. The Kulturhuus is also home to the Schanfigg cultural archive, the Raetica library and an exchange library for children and families. Annually changing exhibitions on exciting topics enrich the offer and invite you to discover something new again and again. Enjoy a gentle carriage ride through Arosa and marvel at the beautiful mountain landscape. Carriage rides are available in both winter and summer.

The Nature Lab offers changing exhibitions on sustainable topics in the region every year. Each exhibition is designed to be interactive and invites visitors to actively engage with the content. Admission is free during opening hours so that everyone has the opportunity to discover the exhibitions. Guided tours are also available on request, offering in-depth insights into the respective topics.

Out and about in the enchanting mountain world of Arosa with two local photographers who want to pass on their knowledge of photography and their fascination for nature. We want to learn and explore with you to create unforgettable experiences. The course offers you not only to experience the beauty of Arosa, but also a comprehensive introduction to photography and image processing. True to the motto “Learn and Experience”.

Experience exciting insights into the world of Arosa Bergbahnen. Discover how artificial snowmaking works and the conditions under which snow is produced to ensure that Arosa Lenzerheide is a snow-sure destination. You can also immerse yourself in the fascinating railroad technology and find out how state-of-the-art systems ensure smooth processes and maximum safety on a daily basis. A fascinating look behind the scenes!

Venture out onto the ice. Under expert guidance, you will be introduced to curling. At the end of the day, a small tournament will determine the champion of the group.  Curling, as well as the alternative curling, which can also be played when it is snowing, are played outside.

Do it like Marco Odermatt and compete in the giant slalom. There are two different race tracks available to you, both of which are equipped with electronic timekeeping. As the skiing ability of the group can vary greatly, it is possible to include obstacles. This increases the chances for non-skiing professionals and at the same time the fun factor.

Did you know that we have a 4,000 m2 experimental station for fodder and potatoes and a 1,000 m2 alpine garden with around 500 vascularised plants in Arosa? During the morning, an expert will teach you the basics of the Arosa cultural landscape and you will get the chance to actively help with the weeding of the alpine plants.

The Astrophysical Observatory Tschuggen - Arosa (AOT) is located on the Tschuggen above Arosa. It was built in 1939 on the initiative of ETH astrophysicist Max Waldmeier by ETH Zurich and operated as an outstation of the Swiss Federal Observatory of ETH. Until 1980, research on solar physics - in particular the solar corona - was carried out at the AOT. You will receive exciting information about the equipment and its use and, with a bit of luck, you will also be able to observe the sun a little more closely.

As a local, active snow sports instructor, trained hunter and former head of rescue for the Arosa Alpine Rescue Service, Reto Fritz offers wildlife watching in and around Arosa. With a bit of luck and the necessary patience, deer, roe deer, chamois, ibex, foxes, badgers, weasels, stoats, eagles, bearded vultures and some other inhabitants can be observed.

Experience the beauty of nature and at the same time make a valuable contribution to the protection and preservation of our forests! In cooperation with Forst Arosa, we offer you the opportunity to take part in various charitable projects that are tailored to the seasonal needs of the forest.

Possible applications:

• Planting: Support the Forst Arosa team in planting new plants and help shape the forests of tomorrow.
• Build fences: Help build fences around newly set plants to protect them from deer browsing and other damage.
• Clearing branches: Take part in the important task of clearing branches to clear the forest floor and help maintain the forest.
• Alpine work: Be there when the Arosa Forestry team cuts tännli and carries out other maintenance work on the alps - ideal for families and children!

There's also something to eat and drink: join the team for a delicious soup or sausages freshly prepared over the fire in the forest at lunchtime.
Every contribution counts and helps to preserve the unique nature of Arosa. Together we make a difference - and enjoy the company and the food in the great outdoors.

Their mission is to build rafts divided into teams for a final race. The objective: to complete the rafts as quickly as possible in a construction competition. The final race on the lake is always fun.

Hire a Kickboard and explore Arosa on two small wheels. The ride starts in the 1st section with the Weisshorn gondola. From there, it's a leisurely ride over the Arlenwald forest with a great view towards the village. Why not make a stop at one of the restaurants along the way?
